Called in to get 4 tires mounted and tpms sensors installed on a vehicle. I was providing the new sensors and tires. The individual on the phone proceeded to tell me that it was $35 a tire for install. Then proceeds to tell me that it's an extra $25 a tire to install sensors. I asked why so much for the sensor install and he claimed that he needed to "relearn" the sensors. I explained that this vehicle has an auto relearn and that I do not need that service provided. He proceeded to tell me that the cost is for the labor to install that sensor.
side note- I think we all know that the 10 seconds it takes to remove the Allen screw off of the valve stem and to reinstall the new sensor is not work $25 dollars a tire. When other shops "discount tire" provide a new valve stem and to install sensors for free.
He then said "well maybe you should go somewhere else then." " I need to make money."
All this tells me is that ramona tire pros does not give two sh*ts about customers. and if you know what the job entails and question why they are charging you for a service that should be included with the tire install charge. They tell you to go somewhere else.
and before anyone says " oh it's only $25" dollars what's the problem."
The problem Is getting charged an extra $100 for something that you shouldn't be charged for at all because they "need to make money"
another side note - we all know they use bottom of the line techs for tire installs. Meaning that they are getting paid MAX $20 an hour and that's pushing it. So the shop is making a killing off of people and ripping individuals off.
Don't go to shops trying to scam you.

Came in for a tire repair, had to come back for an appointment same day. When I got there they got right on it and even checked the air pressure in the spare. I was glad I stopped here. Good people and good service.

These guys are great! I have used them twice for tire rotation and wheel bearing replacement, and they have earned my trust. Reasonable fees, fast service, and top quality work. They really take care of their customers and are honest in their estimates. Will definitely be a regular here!
